Australian Premiere

Best Actress.  Worst Roommate.

Tilda Swinton Answers an Ad on Craiglist is an absurd must-see comedy about life with one of the galaxy’s greatest living actors.

After a devastating break-up, wallflower Walt innocently places an ad on Craigslist for a new roommate. When other-worldly star Tilda Swinton shows up at his door and insists on moving in to “study” Walt for her next big movie role, things get hysterically chaotic and surprisingly cathartic. Following its critically acclaimed World Premiere in LA in 2017, Oriel Entertainment is thrilled to be presenting the Australian Premier of this moving, entertaining and thoroughly liberating new comedy.

From the team that brought you the critically acclaimed I Am My Own Wife, Director Shaun Rennie teams up with AACTA and Sydney Theatre Award nominated Ben Gerrard (Molly, I Am My Own Wife, Buyer & Cellar) in the title role of Tilda Swinton in what is sure to be a camp, hilarious and crowd-pleasing hit of 2018.

This absurdist, flamboyant and hilarious play is a not to be missed Australian Premiere.  Examining the choices we make to be happy - or unhappy – Tilda Swinton Answers an Ad on Craigslist looks at the power we have in our own lives, to be the hero in our own movie... and not the loser.
