details of THE 2021 SEASON coming soon
Production designers are key to the success of independent theatre, working miracles with small budgets and donating time and skill to show the work in its best light. In 2020, with theatre closures and limited work, freelance designers faced an uncertain future. So in October/November, we gave a couple of KXT designers the theatre, and they did amazing things with it!
In 2020, following months of theatre closures, were privileged to host Jasmin Simmons’ gorgeous short film Hungry Skin, Kelly Fregon’s mystical tree-like structures on the KXT stage, and Aleisa Jelbart’s mesmerising tilted Still Life.
It was so successful, we decided to give it another go in 2021!
