dog is a play that explores the lived experience of Contamination Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and alcohol addiction. both a blackhole.

The production of dog includes the use of loud sounds and theatrical haze. dog explores sensitive content and mature themes around OCD, mental ill health, depression, alcoholism, addiction, suicidal ideation and grief. It also includes; the consumption of prop beers onstage, the smoking of herbal cigarettes, live full frontal nudity (in relation to contamination and the act of completing compulsions), and fake blood.

dog depicts OCD in real time (including the portrayal triggers and compulsions) and is written from the perspective of someone with lived experience. The play has been developed in collaboration with a mental health coordinator.
