This year we announced something a little bit special for emerging artists
the inaugural KXT Awards for Excellence in Writing & Directing.
The KXT Awards for Excellence for emerging artists are to acknowledge quality work on the KXT on Broadway stage by artists early in their careers. We’re not fans of theatre as a competitive sport. However we do believe that excellence should be recognised - and sometimes in our very fast moving sector, where we quickly jump from one miraculous triumph to the next, it’s important to take time to pause and to celebrate. The degree of difficulty independent artists have to manage to make their work is deserving of recognition.
For our first year we recognised 2 categories with an award for excellence in writing and an award for excellence in directing.

The winner of the KXT Awards for Excellence receive $1000 and a week in the KXT Vault for their current passion project.
